Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my
life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever." Psalms 23:6 This
is truly good news! – God is a good God! Goodness and mercy shall
follow you every day of your life! Today is such a day... and
tomorrow... and each and every day until the end of your life when God
has completed the plan He has for you. So many people these days are talking in a negative manner, sowing fear, anxiety and deception. They
talk foolishly about the "Da-Vinci-code"; but Jesus has given us the
"Redemption-Code". Jesus Christ has defeated every pain, every
sickness, all shame, every need, poverty and every work of the devil
and brought them to naught on the cross! He has done this for you and me! Hallelujah! "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil." 1 John 3:8 We
need not wait for God's Son to appear and to destroy the works of the
devil. He, Jesus Christ, has already come and already destroyed every
work of the devil, every curse, every power of darkness in our life.
Why are we asking God for a victory that He has already given us? God
has already done everything; He sent His Son who made us joint heirs of
His glory. In Him all things belong to us! It is up to us
to receive this blessing, embrace this awesome truth and to let it
become reality in our life! Still many people go about their lives
expecting the worst. These people have more faith in the possibilities
of the devil than in the possibilities of God. They have greater
expectations to get sick than to be blessed with supernatural health.
They have greater expectations to be disappointed than to be surprised
with good and wonderful things. This "fear" is nothing more than faith
in the possibilities of the devil. As we know, the devil has no
creative power. He "copies" and "perverts" things that God has created
for our blessing. God has given us faith in his promises in order to
bless us. Satan tries to manipulate our faith in order to curse us.
Fear is nothing more than perverted faith! Something Good Shall Take Place In Your Life! – Expect It! Learn
to "rename" apparent moments of defeat into everlasting victory. David
did this when he met Goliath. Goliath called the war his victory and
even the army of Israel believed in this. I am sure its soldiers talked
about this day as a day of defeat. However, David renamed this day into
a day of victory for the Lord of hosts: "The LORD that delivered me out
of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver
me out of the hand of this Philistine." 1 Samuel 17:37 He expected good
things from God. He experienced God's goodness before and he was
convinced he would experience His goodness again on that day! From the
overflow of his heart he proclaimed his expectancy! Don't
hold sad news of a medical diagnosis in your hands, instead rename this
day. This is not the day of bad news, but the first day of recovery and
restoration of health that Christ has already paid for on the cross!
These are not the last days of your life; it is the first day of a new
dimension of His blessing and joy. Jesus doesn't give you a
tranquilizer and say "perish in peace!" He has already rescued you from
desperation and hopelessness. If you have been let down,
rejected and outcast; rename this day! This is the first day of a new
beginning with God! – He wants to do you good! Your disappointments are
only disappointments so long as you let them be. Nobody can dictate you
to accept a bad circumstance as final. Jesus loves it when we expect
good things from Him and if we live our life in great joy about His
victory on the cross and His resurrection. He loves it if we enjoy our
life in great faith in His power and love. The same power that raised
Christ from the dead can penetrate your life with divine vitality and
success! It is our choice to question if we will ever be
blessed some day or if we will raise our head and receive His blessing;
expecting good things from God each and every day! Start expecting good
things! When Jesus was born as the Son of Man, the angels were
shouting: "... Goodwill toward Mankind." Christ was God's greatest gift
to you! Through Him we are delivered from every power of the devil,
once and forevermore! Not only will we spend eternity with him; our
citizenship in heaven is already in effect here on earth! God has
poured heaven with all His glory into our life. Praise and honor be to
the Lord! Do not be afraid to expect good things. From
today on, dare to expect good things! You will see that it is
worthwhile! Jesus Christ has redeemed us from every power of the enemy
by His sacrifice on the cross. A person, who is aligned with the
thought that God will let good things take place in his life, will
experience great changes and victories. Confess God's Word with your
mouth and you will be victorious over every challenging circumstance. Something Good Shall Take Place In Your Life! – This Is The Day! "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalms 118:24 Christ
has poured out His glory over your life! He let the crown of thorns be
placed on His head in order to place the crown of glory on your head,
making you a king and a priest. How often have you heard it
said "my reward in heaven will be great"? Jesus not only paved the way
to heaven for us, but he has already blessed us here on earth "with all
spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ". The heavenly
blessings are already ours here on earth! Isn't that wonderful? This is
the full sense of the word "heavenly" and we are allowed to enjoy it:
health, prosperity, joy, peace with Him ... His glory in our life! This
is the day which the Lord has made for you! Expect good things from
God. This is your day! Something good shall take place in your life! Expect Good Things from Our God Of Glory! |
