Dear Friend:

     there is power in the prayer of agreement. Jesus Himself said that “if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 18:19)

     It means so much to me that you allow me to be your prayer partner. As you share your requests with me, please keep the following things in mind.

Please take the time to read
these points thoroughly:

1. Do not pray for one thing and believe another. First of all, just as you want me to agree with you, you must be in agreement with yourself. Do not ask for a financial blessing if you believe that God wants you poor. Do not ask for healing if you believe God would send sickness to teach you a lesson. Decide to believe the Word of God!
   
   
2. If at all possible, limit your prayer request to one or two sentences. Please keep in mind that I am receiving hundreds of prayer requests, and I want to devote the utmost attention and concentration to each one.
   
   
3. As soon as you have submitted your prayer request, start thanking God for the answer. In your mind, see yourself with the answer to your request. Then affirm to yourself again and again that God is answering your prayer as He has promised.
   
   
4. Do not cancel out your prayer with negative words. Remember: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue!” (Proverbs 18:21) If you ask for a financial blessing, don’t walk around saying “money is hard to get.”.
   
   
5. Watch your thoughts! As soon as a negative thought enters your mind, do not even analyze it but rather plant a positive thought in your mind that will wipe out the negative one.
   
   
6. Decide if you believe you can trust God with your substance. If you believe in a God who answers prayer, you will also believe that He keeps His Word regarding the law of seedtime and harvest: "Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." (Galatians 6:7) "He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward." (Matthew 10:41)
   
   
7. I do not take our prayer covenant lightly. Neither should you. Therefore, I am counting on you to send me the praise report about how God has answered your prayer!
